Parent Events and Resources

Parents and caregivers, welcome to the Wolf Pack! You're an invaluable part of the Loyola community, providing guidance and support to your students as they embark on their college journey.

To support the important work you do, we offer many opportunities for you to foster relationships with your new Loyola family starting this summer. Take a look at upcoming virtual panels, online resources, and more! We also have recordings of previous events linked below.

Havoc's Sneak Peek

We have a special opportunity for you and your student to start your LOYNO experience this summer. You’re invited to attend Havoc’s Sneak Peek, one of two optional preview days designed just for incoming students and their families. For more information and to register, visit this link

Wolf Pack Welcome Parent Programming

Wolf Pack Welcome is our mandatory program to kick off the fall semester for all first-year students. We will also provide optional programming for parents and caregivers during Wolf Pack Welcome available on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15. If you plan to attend the parent/caregiver track during Wolf Pack Welcome, please complete our guest registration form (coming soon). We will release the full schedule of parent events later this summer, but programming will include a variety of informational sessions to answer common questions about your student’s first year of college.

Register for Parent Programming at Wolf Pack Welcome

Please note: The registration form is for parents/caregivers only; you must add your student’s information to complete the parent/caregiver registration so that we can identify your relationship in our system. Since Wolf Pack Welcome is required for all new students, students do not have to complete a registration form.

Parent/Caregiver Online Orientation

New incoming spring students are required to complete online orientation by August 14, 2025 to prepare for the start of the semester. We also encourage parents and caregivers to explore the optional parent/guest access on the orientation website. You’ll find a wealth of information about campus activities, academics, and support services for students.

Care for the Whole Student Panel Discussion

At Loyola, we want to set you up for success both inside and outside of the classroom. We invite you to join us for a virtual panel discussion to learn about holistic programs and support services available through the Office of Student Affairs and Pan-American Life Student Success Center. We will also discuss common scenarios you may face in your first year on campus and tips to navigate these situations. Choose from two sessions:

Session #1

Session #2
