Event Reservations

Through the Department of Student Life and Ministry, on campus entities can reserve the following spaces.  All room reservations must be made no later than 14 business days before your event. It is recommended that you reserve your space early as venues can book up very quickly. For non Loyola room rental interest, please visit our Event Services website.

Student Organization Space Reservations

Events and programs can be the hallmark for Registered Student Organizations (RSO). With more than 100 RSOs, Loyola University New Orleans provides a vibrant, diverse, and robust series of events. There is a lot of hard work and dedication required to make any event successful. It is the responsibility of every RSO to fully understand all event polices and requirements.

RSOs must register all events with Student Life and Ministry through the organization's HowlConnect portal. Select “Events” and then select the green “Create an Event” button. All required information must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event day for approval. The Event Registration Form is a one-stop event registration tool including room reservations, campus notification, police detail, and physical plant resources.  

Campus Department Space Reservations

Campus departments interested in hosting an event can submit an event request using the Campus Department Event Registration Form.  All required information must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event day for approval.

Ignatius Chapel

Ignatius Chapel is available for weddings, baptisms and prayer services. The Chapel is an on-campus church located in one of our academic buildings. It is an intimate setting that can accommodate 200 people. Any Liturgy that will take place in the chapel has to be approved by Student Life and Ministry. Individual Student Room Reservations 

Are you a Loyola student that needs to reserve a space for a class assignment? The Individual Student Room Reservation form is just for that! With this form you can reserve space in the Danna Student Center, academic buildings, Peace Quad and Residential Quad. Reservations must be tied to and educations assignment, which must be verified through your instructor.
