Student Life
The Department of Student Life and Ministry provides leadership development and engagement opportunities for Loyola students through student organizations, Christian Life Communities, retreats, student government, Ignacio Volunteers, campus activities, fraternity and sorority life, new student programs, intramural sports, club sports, university traditions, social justice programs, pastoral counseling, and worship. Student Life and Ministry also serves the campus community through the oversight and management of the Danna Student Center.
The ideals and values of our Christian, Catholic, and Jesuit traditions guide us in creating a welcoming environment and supportive services to all members of the university community. We assist the formation of our students as "contemplatives in action" to allow God's spirit to illuminate them with an even deeper experience of the love of God and more generous response to that love by their passionate commitment to service and justice as individuals with and for others.
SLM will be hosting programming both virtually and on campus (following CDC and university guidelines). In addition, SLM will also be providing opportunities for students to be involved in student organizations virtually. Contact Student Life and Ministry for more information.
