Functional training is the concept of training movements versus training muscles. Movement patterns require different parts of your body to work together. 1-on-1 Training

Small-Group Training

Semi-private personal training sessions are designed for 2-6 participants — perfect for groups of colleagues or friends who want to get fit together, or as a way to meet new friends with similar goals. Small-group training is a skill-based program modified to accommodate all fitness levels.

Jumpstart Session

Not sure if personal or group training is for you? Meet with a personal trainer for a one-hour gym orientation, assessment + workout.

Personal Trainers

Alison McConnell

Loyola University Sports Complex instructor with specialties in mobility, yoga, and Olympic lifting.

Alison coached at Potomac and Patriot CrossFit in Arlington, VA, for six years before relocating to New Orleans in 2016. She is a former coach and director of operations of CrossFit Walter Reed, located inside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and has extensive experience working with adaptive athletes. Alison is currently an American Council on Exercise [ACE]-certified trainer. She has practiced yoga for about 12 years and hopes to pursue a RYT200 certification this year.
