Student Health Services
In compliance with recommendations from our partners at Ochsner Healthcare system, Loyola Student Health Services (SHS) is moving to an appointment-only system. Students seeking treatment should call SHS at 504.865.3326 between the hours of 8:30 a.m.–4:45 p.m., Monday–Friday to schedule an appointment. No walk-ins will be accepted. Please call if you have any questions, and remember, 24/7 virtual appointments are available via the Ochsner Anywhere app.
Student Health and COVID-19
Loyola University partners with Ochsner Health System for our Student Health Services. Our student health team currently follows protocols established by Ochsner. These protocols are updated daily. Latest updates are available here. You can also call the Ochsner COVID-19 Patient Hotline at 844-888-2772 with any COVID-19 questions. For general information, dial the Louisiana hotline, 211, or text the keyword LACOVID to 898-211.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include dry cough, shortness of breath and fever. You also need to have been exposed to the virus to become infected.
If you are concerned that you may have COVID-19, you can seek assistance by calling Student Health Services at 504.865.3326. You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, and a determination for follow-up care, including testing, will be made.
For virtual healthcare, which is available 24/7, you can use the Ochsner Anywhere app. Visits are only $10 for Loyola students, faculty, and staff.
We look forward to seeing you at your upcoming appointment scheduled in Student Health Services. We have some forms that you MUST complete prior to your appointment. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have some guidelines that we ask you to follow:

- The door to the clinic is locked at all times. Please call us to be let into the clinic when you arrive (504-865-3326).
- You must wear a face mask to enter the clinic and keep the mask on unless advised otherwise.
- We will take your temperature at the door prior to you entering.
Please call us if you have any questions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
