Christian Life Communities
Join a CLC Today
We will have both in person and virtual options for groups this year. Register here by September 10. Curious and want to learn more? Join us for a Meet & Greet on 9/9 at 7 pm in the Audubon Room, or here virtually.
What is a CLC?
Each Christian Life Community (CLC) is a group of people (usually between 6 to 10 members) that meets regularly to pray, reflect, and discuss issues of life and faith. Based in Ignatian spirituality, CLCs help members find God in all things and discover their calling in life.
What is a meeting like?
Each meeting involves opening and closing prayers, sharing on how you have encountered God in your week, and a prayer experience and discussion. Prayer experiences usually center on an aspect of Ignatian spirituality and can include meditation, art, scripture, journaling, and more.
Registration for 2020-2021 groups is now open. There will be both in-person and virtual options for groups this year. Register here by September 10. Note that you must be logged in to your Loyola email address to complete the registration form. Not sure if you want to commit for the whole year? Don't worry! When you register for a group you are only signing up for the first three weeks. After that you can decide whether CLC is for you for the year. Contact Laura Alexander, University Minister, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
