Parents and caregivers, welcome to the Wolf Pack! We recommend that parents/caregivers review the orientation modules. Additionally, as a means to foster relationships with your new Loyola family, we will be hosting several optional Zoom panels throughout the semester. There will be a chat function enabled, which will allow your questions to be answered by a Loyola professional staff member and/or a Krewe Leader.

Student Success Center Offerings
Federal Work-Study Parent/Caregiver Presentation
This session will cover the rules, regulations, opportunities, and benefits available to eligible students. In addition, parents/legal guardians will learn how to prepare their eligible students who are interested in seeking FWS Student Employment for the academic year.

Student Success Center Parent/Caregiver Panel
Here, parents will learn valuable resources on how to support their students. The panel will cover the support networks and free services available to students on Loyola’s campus. It will also discuss common scenarios students face in their first year on campus and how parents/caregivers can help their students navigate these situations.

Help Your Student Stay Engaged Over the Summer
Want to encourage your student to engage and make new friends over the summer? Nearpeer is an exclusive community for LOYNO students to meet other members of the Wolf Pack with similar interests and life experiences. Your student can get started today by going to nearpeer.net and creating an account using their @my.loyno.edu email address. Nearpeer will send a confirmation email to your student so they can set up their profile and start meeting classmates in the app! Watch this video to learn more.

Meet the Dean Town Halls
Students and caregivers can join us for a live Meet the Dean town hall event held via Zoom. Department leaders will share some of the unique benefits of the academic college associated with your child’s chosen major.
