Bio

Dymphna Davis, Ph.D., LPC-S, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor and National Certified Counselor.  Dr. Davis has extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults in the Orleans and Jefferson parish school systems. In her private practice, she worked with adults around relational stress, anxiety, and identity clarification. Dr. Davis received her Master’s in School and Community counseling and Doctoral degree in Counseling Education and Supervision from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, La. With an approach to counseling informed by cognitive behavioral therapy, Dr. Davis helps clients to empower themselves by exploring behavioral patterns and identifying ways to change negative patterns of behavior.
