Bio

Ken serves as the University Minister for Liturgy and Music and is a Resident Chaplain in Biever residence hall.

Ken Weber comes to Loyola University after three years as a freelance opera singer. Ken has performed extensively with New Orleans Opera, Shreveport Opera, Mobile Opera, and other regional companies. Before embarking on a career in opera, Ken served as the Campus Minister for Liturgy and Music at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL, from 2001 to 2004. Before that, he served as Music Director at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Chicago, IL for one year. Ken taught music and voice for three years in New Orleans prior to that: two years at Ursuline Academy and one year at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA).

A native of Los Angeles and graduate of Loyola High School there, Ken brings extensive experience with the Jesuits and Ignatian spirituality to his position with University Ministry.
