Bio

In his role as Community Director for Biever Hall, Aaron manages the residential programming in the hall by ensuring that all students reside in a comfortable living-learning community. 

Aaron is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana but moved to Baton Rouge after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Aaron’s life has been shaped by many important events and moments that have forged his path forward in ensuring equitable learning environments for all students. Before returning to Residential Life, Aaron spent several years teaching in an urban school in Baton Rouge where he engaged in diverse learning opportunities to help foster growth in students that were often left behind. 

Aaron is passionate about giving each student the opportunity to thrive in their educational journeys and wants to play an active role in ensuring that they reach their individual potential. 

Aaron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Southeastern Louisiana State University in 2015. He later received a Master of Arts in History with a concentration in American History from Southeastern Louisiana State University in 2018. Currently, Aaron is working on obtaining his doctorate in Public Policy and Administration from Southern University and A&M College.
