About Intercollegiate Athletics & University Sports Complex

2017 USC RENOVATION UPDATE:

The Loyola University Sports Complex is closed for the remainder of the summer due to necessary renovations. The Loyola University Sports Complex office will remain open while the facility is closed. A Building Manager is on site Monday through Friday from 8:15am-4:45pm for assistance with membership issues. Active Loyola USC members, faculty and staff, and students will have access to Tulane’s Reily Center in the interim.

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and University Sports Complex provides opportunities for students, employees, and alumni to participate in competitive and non-competitive, organized and informal sports, and fitness activities. Intercollegiate Athletics and University Sports Complex meets the diverse needs of the university community with a broad-based, comprehensive programs, including open recreation, and special interest programs. The intercollegiate athletic program offers men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country/track, men's and women's tennis, baseball, women’s volleyball, men's and women's swimming, and competitive cheerleading and dance. They are a member of the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

It is the express purpose of Intercollegiate Athletics and University Sports Complex to meet the diverse needs of the university community with a broad-based comprehensive program including non-credit instructional programs, open recreation, and special interest programs. The University Sports Complex is a multi-purpose sports facility which includes: multi-purpose courts used for basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton, and soccer; racquetball court; an olympic-style natatorium for swimming; a whirlpool; a suspended jogging track and a weightlifting/conditioning area. It has locker rooms which include a sauna and steam room.
