In her role as Assistant Director for Residential Community Standards, Marquita serves as Community Director for Cabra and Founders Hall, managing the residential program in those residence halls to ensure that students have a comfortable living and learning environment.
Marquita also works closely with the Office of Student Conduct and the Department of Residential Life to uphold community and residential standards outlined in the Student Code of Conduct and other University policies. Marquita does this by training and advising Residential Life staff serving as University hearing officers.
Marquita is passionate about ensuring that the student conduct process is an educational and restorative experience in which students learn from their actions to make better decisions in the future while at Loyola and beyond.
Marquita was raised in Miami, FL. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Child & Family Intervention from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She received her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University.
