Alysse Fuchs (she/her), LMSW, received a Master's degree in Social Work from Tulane University, and a B.A. in Sociology from Colorado College. Alysse utilizes mindfulness as a foundational component of her therapeutic approach. Alysse is also therapeutically informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, attachment, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. In her practice, Alysse centers the self-determination and dignity of every client and seeks to walk alongside clients as they deepen their relationship to self. Prior to the UCC, Alysse worked at Grace House as a substance abuse counselor. Alysse is excited to work with clients facing a broad range of concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, addiction, couple and familial relationship challenges, and LGBTQIA identity issues.
