Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Provost
Loyola University New Orleans
Discover, Develop, and Apply… three words highlighting our approach to educating students to live and lead with their strengths, talents and skills.
As the Vice President for Student Affairs, I have the great privilege of working with a talented, strong team of educators and student leaders. Every day is new, every day is different and every day we re-commit to being people with and for others.
We do this through offering programs of substance impacting students' growth and complimenting what is learned in the classroom. We do this by supporting activities in the residence halls, on the athletic fields, in the dining hall, or making sure there are spaces and places for students just to gather, share, and inspire one another. We do this by being present for one another.
This is central to why students at Loyola University New Orleans feel a sense of community; why faculty and staff have passion around their life’s work. This is a university that values the individual in community; that believes relationships are vital to well-being. We believe the Jesuit traditions of faith, service and justice promote a positive campus climate and serves as a spring-board for impacting the world!
Our goal is assist to students in discovering, developing, and applying distinctive strengths, talents and skills for both personal achievement and the benefit to others. Oh, and did I mention, all the while having a great time and building a lasting university experience? It’s true.
Live From Your Strengths: Lead Strong.
