How to use your PACKport:
Spotlight events are featured programs designed specificially for you at a first-year student! Attending events labled as 'Spotlight' will earn your stamps on your PACKport stamp card. Stamps translate to possible prizes at the PACKport BBQ on September 30th at 5pm in the Residential Quad. Prizes include airline vouchers, Loyola gear, gift cards, prize baskets and more!

Life-savers from Liz will teach strategies to transition to college life at Loyola. Liz Rainey, the Director of Retention and Student Success, along with Professor Roger White and J.A. Cunningham, a senior at Loyola, will lead an interactive conversation with first-year students to addresses key issues and resources for academic success. Topics will include: time management, course expectations, attendance, resources on campus, LORA and blackboard.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a very long tradition at Catholic schools, especially Jesuit institutions, where the academic community gathers at the beginning of the year to pray to God for the blessing and graces of the Holy Spirit on our teaching and learning.

And, perhaps most importantly, why do some of my professors have anti-technology policies in the class room?!
