Community Standards and Policies

College is a natural time of exploration as students experience living away from home, new relationships, and a new level of autonomy and independence. Loyola University New Orleans is a Jesuit institution of higher education, and as such expects students to hold themselves and their peers to the highest levels social, academic, and personal performance.

The Student Code of Conduct is the student's contract with Loyola. This document spells out the specific academic and behavioral expectations that Loyola holds of each student.

In addition, the following community standards and policies apply specifically to the residence halls and all students who live in them.

While living on campus, students are also required to develop an evacuation plan in the event that tropical weather requires such action.  Please review the Office of Residential Life's preparedness and response plan here:
