Loyola University has partnered with the Student Educational Benefit Trust to offer 3 medical plans, as well as a supplemental option. Eligible enrolled students may choose from the Gold, Silver, or Bronze plans, or the WolfPackCare supplemental plan.

  • The Gold Plan is built on a 3-tier PPO with services at the Student Health Center and PCP services within a local area clinic, paid for at 100%. Deductibles are waived within the 1st tier, but are applicable for services rendered within the 2nd and 3rd tiers. Rates for this plan are higher, but out of pocket costs are significantly lower on this plan option.

  • The Silver Plan is built on a 3-tier PPO with services at the Student Health Center and PCP services within a local area clinic, paid for at 100%. Deductibles are waived within the 1st tier, but are applicable for services rendered within the 2nd and 3rd tiers. Rates for this plan are lower than the Gold Plan, but out of pocket costs are slightly higher in comparison.

  • The Bronze Plan is the lowest cost option of the 3 medical plans. It is built on a 3-tier PPO with services at the Student Health Center and PCP services within a local area clinic, paid for at 100%. Deductibles are waived within the 1st tier, but are applicable for services rendered within the 2nd and 3rd tiers. This plan has lower premiums than the Gold and Silver plans, but out of pocket costs for services are higher.

  • The WoldPackCare Supplemental Plan option is intended for students with other coverage, such as a high deductible PPO, Out of State HMO, or Medicaid Plan. This policy covers the student’s responsibility at the Student Health Center, and also provides an additional $2,500 for outpatient services rendered outside of the Student Health Center.

Please note: If you already have your student on your employer's insurance and wish to change to one of these plans, you can!  This open enrollment is a qualifying event. Please contact your employer's human resource department to initiate this process.
