Theta Phi Alpha was founded in 1912 at the University of Michigan to advance educational, social, and philanthropic interests and leadership training. Encouraging spiritual development and adhering to high moral standards, we promote life-long bonds of friendship. Loyola's chapter was established in 1959, making us the oldest of Loyola's sororities. Our most popular philanthropic event is Theta Phi Grass Volleyball Tournament. We also host the annual Voodoo Halloween party and Sapphire Ball.
