Mardi Gras Career Expo

The Mardi Gras Creer Expo is one of the largest career fairs held in New Orleans. It's an excellent opportunity for job and internship seekers to meet local and national employers. Six regional schools host this fair and transportation to and from the university will be provided.

Fall Internship and Part-Time Job Fair

Recruiters from over 60 agencies will be present to speak about job and internship opportunities with their organizations. Just in time to find a job after coming back on campus in the fall, bring your resume and come connect with these employers.

 Work of Art Expo

The WORK OF ART EXPO is geared towards students in the College of Music and Fine arts and other students in the fine arts, performing arts or media arts. Recruiters from various local and national organizations will be on campus to recruit interns for Summer and Fall, as well as potential employees for part-time and full time positions.

Students should be prepared with copies of their resumes and/or portfolios. Dress is business professional. No t-shirts, shorts, joggers or sweatpants, athletic wear, flip-flops or sports sneakers are permitted.

Student performers and artists who are juniors or seniors will also have an opportunity to present work on our live performance stage or in our gallery space. If you are interested, please contact Jill Boatright at boatrigh@loyno.edu

Government and Non-Profit Expo 

Recruiters from government and nonprofit agencies will be present to speak about job and internship opportunities with their organizations. If you're interested in learning more about working in a social justice, education, service, or legal field, bring your resume and come connect with these employers. Dress is business casual; flip flops, athletic apparel, and shorts will not be permitted.

SMC Networking Night

Interested in working or interning in the field of communications? Come to Mass Communication Networking Night to network with professionals in the fields of Public Relations, Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, and Journalism. Mass Communication Networking Night provides the opportunity for students to learn more about available jobs and internships in Mass Communication in the New Orleans area.
